Full description and objectives
This session will address key technological challenges in trustworthy AI, ranging from adaptive and autonomous robotic systems to explainable, transparent and accountable AI.
The projects will showcase how robots can become more capable of adapting to complex and changing environments while ensuring safety and reliability under human oversight. They also explore new approaches to AI systems that can better explain their decisions, manage uncertainty and build trust through greater transparency and accountability.
Together, these advances point towards a new generation of AI and robotics that can move beyond controlled environments, operate more effectively in real world settings and increasingly interact with people. The session will highlight how advances in autonomous robotics, adaptive systems, AI agents and explainability can complement one another, helping to create solutions that are not only more capable, but also safer, more dependable and easier for people to understand and trust.
