Full description and objectives
Europe possesses strong capabilities in AI, Data and Robotics, yet significant barriers remain between technological innovation and large-scale industrial adoption. While excellent research continues to produce advanced robotic platforms, industries (particularly SMEs) often struggle with system integration, interoperability, validation, certification and deployment costs.
This workshop addresses these challenges by bringing together robotics developers, system integrators, industrial end-users, researchers, policymakers and representatives of European initiatives to discuss how ADR convergence can accelerate the deployment of AI-driven robotics solutions across European industry.
The discussion directly aligns with the emerging European vision for AI-driven robotics, where modular integration frameworks, interoperable software and hardware components, digital twins, benchmarking methodologies, and reusable deployment tools enable faster adoption and validation of robotics technologies in real operational environments.
Participants will explore how Europe can strengthen strategic autonomy through sovereign robotics capabilities, open standards, trusted AI, and collaborative innovation ecosystems that bridge the gap between technology providers and industrial adopters.
The workshop will generate recommendations for accelerating the transition from laboratory research to scalable industrial deployment, supporting Europe's competitiveness, resilience and leadership in Physical AI.
Why you want to join?
This workshop directly addresses:
Theme 1 – Accelerating ADR Convergence for European Resilience and Strategic Autonomy by exploring how the convergence of AI, Data and Robotics can create sovereign European Physical AI capabilities, reduce dependency on non-European technology stacks, and strengthen critical industrial and service sectors.
Theme 3 – From Lab to Deployment: Transfer and Validation by presenting practical pathways that enable robotics innovations to move from research laboratories into validated, trusted and scalable deployments through collaborative ecosystems, testing facilities, and industrial partnerships.
