Reet Pärgmäe is an esteemed Estonian expert in technology law, data protection, and innovation financing who operates at the vital interface of public funding and deep-tech commercialisation. Currently serving as the Financing Advisor for AI & Robotics Estonia (AIRE) EDIH and the ADAPTER inter-university cooperation network, she designs comprehensive funding roadmaps and strategic development plans to bridge the scale-up gap for industrial AI, data, and robotics solutions. With over 20 years of experience, Reet has led TalTech technology transfer and innovation centre, managed enterprise-academia R&D collaborations, and advised deep-tech startups on intellectual property strategies and regulatory compliance, including the EU AI Act. Her notable public-sector contributions include leading the Legal Working Group for Estonia's national "Kratt" (AI) Expert Committee. Educated in law at the Universities of Tartu, Helsinki, and Konstanz, Reet brings highly practical, system-level insights on how to successfully align public capital with private investment to accelerate deep-tech scaling.
