Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Mohit Kumar is Research Team Lead and Key Researcher in Data Science at Software Competence Center Hagenberg (SCCH), Austria, and apl. Professor of Computational Intelligence in Automation at the University of Rostock, Germany. He has more than 25 years of experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning, with a particular focus on trustworthy AI, privacy-preserving and collaborative learning, federated learning, explainable AI, uncertainty-aware modelling, and AI system engineering. His research combines methodological advances with applications in industrial AI, healthcare, critical infrastructure, automation, and data-intensive systems. He has led and contributed to numerous national and European R&D projects and has published extensively in leading international journals and conferences in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and computational intelligence.
