Øystein Skotheim

Øystein Skotheim is the Chief Scientific Officer at ScoutDI and works on perception, autonomy and AI for their Scout 137 drone system for inspection of confined spaces. He holds a M. Sc. degree in physics and mathematics from NTNU in Trondheim, Norway. Øystein has earlier worked for 14+ years as a senior researcher in computer vision at SINTEF in Norway. He is also the Co-Founder of Zivid, a company that manufactures and sells high-precision 3D cameras for robot vision.
