Michael Hofmann is Qualcomm's EMEA Lead for AI Research & Systems, where he oversees multidisciplinary teams advancing artificial intelligence across efficient machine learning, generative AI, robotics, trustworthy AI, and intelligent agents. His organization spans the full spectrum from foundational research to software and systems engineering, bridging scientific innovation and real-world deployment. His teams develop AI technologies that are efficient, reliable, and scalable, enabling new capabilities across edge computing, autonomous systems, and emerging intelligent systems. He serves as Senior Director of Engineering at Qualcomm.
