Jan Lorenz

Jan Lorenz is a senior project and product manager at Karolinska Institutet in Sweden, focused on AI and healthcare infrastructure. He helps drive the Swedish node of TEF-Health, the EU's Testing and Experimentation Facility for Health AI and Robotics, where he works on validating AI in real-world healthcare settings. His work also covers Trusted Research Environments (TREs), which let researchers use sensitive health data securely. On the security side, he manages a project that prepares Sweden's healthcare, medtech and pharma sectors for post-quantum cryptography.

Previously, Jan worked as a technology consultant at EY and studied Information Systems in Germany before specializing in Health Informatics at Karolinska Institutet.
