Iria Galiñanes Romero

Iria Galiñanes Romero is Head of Digital Twin and Quantum Technologies at CTAG – Automotive Technology Centre of Galicia, within the Manufacturing and Digital Transformation Division. Her work focuses on the development and industrial application of advanced Digital Twin technologies, modelling and simulation of complex systems, Artificial Intelligence, and emerging quantum technologies. 

She leads initiatives aimed at integrating virtual models, real-time industrial data and AI to support predictive analysis, optimisation and decision-making in manufacturing and logistics environments. Her activities also include the development of advanced simulation capabilities, autonomous and intelligent systems, and the convergence of Digital Twins with emerging technologies such as Physical AI. 

She is actively involved in European R&D and innovation activities, contributing to the definition and development of future digitalisation strategies for industry.
