Hans Uszkoreit

Hans Uszkoreit is Co-Founder and Chief Scientist of nyonic as well as Scientific Director at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) in Berlin. He is also a co-initiator and Steering Board Member of LEAM.AI. 

Uszkoreit has worked in AI for 40 years as professor, research leader and entrepreneur. He has authored more than 250 publications in AI and computational linguistics and he is Member of the European Academy of Sciences. 

He has coordinated many national and international confederated projects and co-founded several AI companies. For his work on language understanding, he received two Google Research Awards.
