Her work focuses on turning robotic capabilities into practical applications, from defining use cases and coordinating technical teams to planning and validating pilots in healthcare and other real-world settings.

PAL Robotics is a Barcelona-based robotics company with more than twenty years of experience developing humanoid robots, mobile manipulators, assistive platforms and autonomous solutions for real-world environments. Its portfolio includes platforms such as TALOS, ARI and TIAGo. In this workshop, Gizem offers the hardware developer’s perspective on designing humanoid robots for healthcare, including the capabilities, limitations and integration choices that determine whether a project can succeed.
