With a background in Technical Medicine and the Philosophy of Science, Technology and Society (MSc and PhD), Sophie has experience in research on emerging technologies and their societal implications. Her research focuses on the societal challenges associated with emerging (digital) technologies. She has expertise in digital sovereignty and its translation into strategic choices, governance frameworks, and practical courses of action for public sector organizations.
