Cristiana Costa

Cristiana Costa is Coordinator of the Impact, Testing and Validation Unit at Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN), where she leads initiatives supporting the development, validation, regulatory readiness and market uptake of innovative health technologies. She has extensive experience in European-funded projects, digital health, AI, robotics and immersive technologies, working at the intersection of technology, clinical evidence, regulation and business. She does the executive coordination of the Portuguese TEF-Health initiative, supporting companies in testing and validating AI and robotics solutions, and has extensive experience in expert evaluation, technology scouting, ecosystem building and market access strategies for emerging healthcare innovations. She is also the coordinator of the European project VR Health Champions, which supports the creation of a value chain for VR solutions in health.
