Cem Gulec

Cem GULEC holds the position of Policy and Programme Officer within the unit Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Innovation and Excellence of Directorate-General CONNECT at the European Commission. With a strong focus on robotics, he is accountable for the preparation and implementation of the robotics strategy. His responsibilities also include managing the relations with the Partnership on AI, Data, and Robotics. ù

Before assuming his current role, Cem GULEC acquired substantial expertise in the private sector, specifically in the domain of the nuclear industry. Following this, he made a transition to the European Commission, where his contributions were highly influential.
