Argyro Amidi

She is a lawyer, member of the Athens Bar Association and admitted to practice before the Greek Supreme Court, specialised in administrative and public law, data protection, telecommunications law and new technologies regulations, with a Master’s degree in Public Law at University of Paris II – Assas. She is also specialised in R&I projects, covering the legal and ethical aspects of the related projects. She is an external collaborator of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), supporting EU-funded projects and the legal Counsel of FOURDOTINFINITY (FDI). More specifically, she provides her legal advice and contribution to all the legal and ethical aspects of NKUA’s and FDI’s R&I projects in relation to data, digital technologies, AI and ML techniques in manufacturing, telecommunications etc. She also leads FDI’s activities in providing legal support for the compliance of private entities with the tech regulatory environments, such as the AI Act and the GDPR. Since May 2008, she is member of the Legal Department of the Hellenic Authority for Communications, Security and Privacy (ADAE). Furthermore, she is co-chairing the Ethical and Legal Topic Group within ADRA.
