Short description: An interactive workshop to discover how AI and data can enhance decision making through effective human-AI collaboration
Date: 05.11.2024 | 10.45 - 12.15
Location: Venus room
Description:
The workshop is an interactive session dedicated to exploring the transformative potential of AI and Data in decision support across various professional domains, including medical diagnostics, policy making, and production processes. Attendees will engage with experts from two ongoing European projects focused on human-AI collaboration for decision support: HACID and FAIRWork.
As a starting point, participants will learn about the HACID and FAIRWork technologies through demos of early-stage prototypes and concepts. Then working in small groups, they will explore key considerations and priorities related to (i) the effective integration of human and AI components in hybrid decision support systems, and (ii) evaluation opportunities and challenges of human-AI collabroation.
The HACID project aims at the development of a hybrid collective intelligence decision support system based on semantic knowledge graphs, in which domain experts and AI collaborate for solution of complex problems in open-ended domains such as medical diagnostics and climate-change adaptation management. The FAIRwork project aims at the democratisation of decision-making in production settings, fostering decision support that optimises processes and ensures a trustworthy usage of AI.
