Date: 04.11.2024 | 14.00 - 15.30
Location: Neptune room
Description:
The 90-minute workshop on "Generative AI for Human-AI Collaboration" aimed to form a dedicated topics group within ADRA, focusing on leveraging AI to enhance human capabilities and societal impact. Following the suggestion by the European Commission, the topical group is intended to sustain & build upon the legacy of the Humane AI Net ICT-48 network of excellence. The session underscored the criticality of fostering effective communication and understanding between humans and AI, ensuring a synergistic partnership. This theme holds particular relevance for the ADRA audience for several reasons. Firstly, advancing AI algorithms that facilitate seamless collaboration is imperative for the progression of AI technologies. Secondly, enhancing AI's role in human-AI collaboration significantly boosts the intelligence and functionality of robotics, promising a future where robots can work alongside humans more intuitively and effectively. Lastly, generative AI's ability to manage and interlink vast amounts of data opens new possibilities for insights and applications previously unattainable, driving innovation and efficiency. The workshop will engage participants in discussions and activities to explore these themes, highlighting the potential benefits and challenges. The topics group should be a platform for gathering interdisciplinary experts in this emerging field within ADRA of building collaborative solutions to enhance AI & human capabilities alike.
