Short description: Five EU-funded research projects discuss on how to achieve efficient trustworthy AI in the cloud-edge continuum
Date: 04.11.2024 | 14.00 - 15.30
Location: Venus room
Description:
Let’s talk about AI systems! How do we improve efficiency? How do we ensure trustworthiness? How do we make the best out of data? What changes when we extend across the cloud-edge continuum (CEC)? And how will the AI Act affect them?
AI-DAPT, EXTRA-BRAIN, MANOLO, PANDORA, and RAIDO projects joined hands in an effort to address these questions and shed light to the needs and challenges of efficient trustworthy AI in the cloud-edge continuum. Along the way, key experts from both academia and industry will have a panel discussion to introduce several insights of how to achieve some of them in practice.
Together with the vibrant AI community, the workshop will raise awareness on practical restrictions and major enablers for efficient trustworthy AI in the cloud edge continuum, covering important topics that address data quality, data monitoring, benchmarking, explainable AI, self-adaptation, end-users’ trust and of course environmental footprint.
Last but not least, the workshop will explore the impact of the AI Act to the implementation and deployment of such AI systems across the cloud-edge, focusing on technical and legal implications.
