Long Pharm

Dr. Long Pham is a seasoned research coordinator and policy strategist with over two decades of experience spanning journalism, public policy, technology, and academia. Currently based in Cork, Ireland is a Senior Research Coordinator at the Insight Centre for Data Analytics, University College Cork (UCC). In this role, she leads UCC’s work in a suite of major EU-funded artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives, including AI4EU, AI4Europe, TAILOR, VISION, and AIDA.
Her academic background includes a PhD in Government from UCC, with research focused on smart cities, citizen engagement, and local technology policy. She also holds an MA in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Arkansas, funded by the Fulbright program, and a BA in English from Hanoi University of Foreign Studies.
