Françoise Siepel

Dr. Françoise J. Siepel is an Associate Professor at the University of Twente in the Netherlands, specializing in Robotics in Healthcare. With over 17 years of research experience, she has led cutting-edge developments in image-guided, minimally invasive robotic interventions integrating AI, robotics, and advanced imaging for oncology applications. She leads multiple EU and national research programmes and has significantly contributed to major projects such as DIH-HERO. Dr. Siepel chairs strategic European groups, including the Robotics in Healthcare Topic Group within euRobotics and the Healthcare Track of ADRA. She actively bridges academia, industry, and clinical institutions.
