Short description: Building Trust in GenAI: Navigating Evaluation Challenges for a Responsible European Future
Date: 04.11.2024 | 15.45 - 17.15
Location: Venus room
Description:
The European Commission is actively promoting the development of Generative AI (GenAI) solutions across various sectors, including health, energy, security, environment, public sector, and transport. While there is broad consensus on the necessity for these AI systems to be responsible, trustworthy, and human-centric there is currently little agreement on the most consistent and effective methods to evaluate them, especially when balancing the trade-offs of innovation with regulation.
This panel is a must-attend for researchers and professionals involved in the development, evaluation, or regulation of GenAI technologies aiming to align with European values and standards. Engage with experts to enhance the consistency and quality of GenAI evaluations and support the responsible advancement of AI in Europe.
